PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a leveling control from getting out of order by detecting the storage of a boom when the boom abuts on a boom rest. SOLUTION: This levelling device 20 of a vehicle 1 for high lift work comprises the boom 5 installed on a runnable vehicle body 2, a working stand 7 mounted at the tip of the boom 5, the boom rest 9 mounted on the vehicle body 2 and allowing the boom 5 to storably put thereon, a leveling cylinder 53 horizontally holding the working stand 7 according to the derricking of the boom 5, and a derricking control valve SV<SB>2</SB>performing the supply and discharge control of hydraulic oil to and from the leveling cylinder. The device also comprises a boom storage detection switch 12 electrically detecting that the boom is storably put on the boom rest 9 and an oil path opening valve SV5 opening a third oil path 63 connecting the leveling cylinder 53 to the derricking control valve SV<SB>2</SB>when it is detected that the boom 5 is stored.
