PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reach type forklift capable of improving a holding property of a driver. SOLUTION: A connected element 24 installed on an inner face of a side frame 15 of a driving part 10 has a waist pad 21 connected via a connectably connecting element 28, and a plurality of upper and lower elongated holes 23 capable of inserting the connecting element 28 are formed to the waist pad 21. A plurality of front and rear elongated holes 27 capable of inserting the connecting element 28 are formed to the connected element 24. When a driver 18 rides on a driving part 10, the waist pad 21 is moved in upper, lower, front and rear directions, and is brought into close contact with the waist of the driver 18, so that a holding property of the driver 18 can be improved.
