PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability for taking out or housing a suction tool (auxiliary suction tool) from/in a main body. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is provided with a vacuum cleaner body 1 which includes an electric blower 12 generating suction air and a housing part 6 for housing the suction tool 7 for sucking dust. When the suction tool 7 is housed in the housing part 6, the suction tool 7 is inserted to the housing part 6 from one end in a longitudinal direction, and thus two or more kinds of suction tools can be arranged, and a required suction tool is instantly taken out according to a place to be cleaned.
