PURPOSE: Vibration restricting structure of a lid for a washing machine is provided to prevent noise by restricting vibration of the lid in shaking the washing machine with fitting the lid to a lid frame by a holder. CONSTITUTION: A vibration restricting system is composed of a lid(30) opening and closing the upper part of a detergent storage chamber; a lid frame(40) opening and closing the lid by connecting a hinge and having a placing part for lifting the corner of the lid thereon in closing the lid; and a holder(50) preventing vibration of the lid in shaking the washing machine by fitting the portion of the lid opposite to the hinge to the lid frame. Noise is prevented by restricting vibration of the lid in shaking the washing machine. The holder is composed of a first projection(52) protruded in the lid, a second projection(56) protruded in the lid frame, a first magnetic body installed opposite to the hinge, and a second magnetic body mounted to the lid frame and contacted to the first magnetic body in closing the lid. The upper part of the first projection is leveled, and the thickness of the upper part is reduced in the lower part. The lower part of the second projection is leveled, and the thickness of the second projection is reduced in the upper part.
