PURPOSE: An inflator mounting structure for an airbag is provided to prevent the abnormal inflation of an airbag cushion by preventing the separation of an inflator while inflator is exploded. CONSTITUTION: In an inflator mounting structure for an airbag, a joint unit(45) protrudes upward from a coupling member(43) coupled to a mounting plate(40). A support unit(53) is formed integrally with a connecting member(52) connected integrally to the outer circumference of an inflator(50), and protrudes downward toward a support surface of the coupling member. An elastic member is disposed between the connecting member and the coupling member, and includes a first elastic member(70) and a second elastic member(80). The first elastic member is formed between the joint unit and the support unit. The second elastic member(80) is coupled to the end of the support unit. A groove(46) is formed at the support surface of the coupling member. The end of the support unit is in contact with the groove of the support surface when the inflator is exploded. |
