PURPOSE: An apparatus for covering a camera lens in a mobile phone is provided to rapidly and easily open and close the lens as the need arises. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for covering a camera lens(100) in a mobile phone consists of a mounting slot(20) and a lens cover(10). The mounting slot(20) is formed with its upper side opened at the upper part of the rear side of a main body case(1). The lens cover(10) is fixed to the mounting slot(20) so as to be operated up and down. On the lower surface of the mounting slot(20), the first and second stop slots(22,22A) are formed sequentially at regular intervals. The camera lens(100) is installed below the second stop slot(22A). At the rear side of the lens cover(10), a board having a fixing protrusion, which is sequentially combined with the first and second stop slots(22,22A), is formed in a single unit.
