<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight weather strip of excellent recyclability at low cost in which a resin-made or rubber-made part and a metal part can be easily separated from each other. <P>SOLUTION: The weather strip for automobile is formed by integral simultaneous extrusion molding of a resin-made or rubber-made fitting base part 1, a resin-made or rubber-made seal part 2 to be held by the fitting base part 1, and a metal decorative plate 3 provided on an outer surface of the fitting base part 1. The rigidity of the fitting base part 1 is set to be higher than that of the seal part 2 so as to hold the seal part 2, and the decorative plate 3 is set to be thin-walled not enough to hold the seal part 2 by the decorative plate 3 alone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
