<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide starting equipment of an occupant protection device for a vehicle capable of carrying out collision determination without using an uncertain signal out of acceleration signals input to a collision determination part. <P>SOLUTION: Output signals of a main G sensor 11 and a satellite G sensor 21 are respectively determined to be whether they are normal signals or not at first and second normality abnormality determination parts 122, 123. That is, an abnormal time treatment signal is formed by carrying out treatment (abnormal time treatment) to replace a value of the abnormal signal with an output value of an immediate previous normal signal in the case when it is determined as the abnormal signal.
