<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a compact and rational layout and to progress recognition of a sucked component rationally in relation to the type of the component. <P>SOLUTION: In a mounter comprising a pair of imaging units 21 and 22 each having a linear sensor arranged with imaging elements in the Y axis direction (main scanning direction) and imaging a component from different directions, these imaging units 21 and 22 are arranged in proximity to each other while being shifted in the Y axis direction. At the time of mounting, a normal recognition mode for sequentially imaging a sucked component in the order of the first imaging unit 21 and the second imaging unit 22, or a precise recognition mode for imaging the sucked component by means of the first imaging unit 21 and after imaging the sucked component again by means of the first imaging unit 21 under a state where suction error is corrected based on that image, the sucked component is imaged by means of the second imaging unit 22 is performed selectively depending on the type of the component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
