<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a measurement accuracy in noninvasive glucose densitometry by receiving the light which includes various information on a glucose concentration. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus 1 for measuring glucose concentration is equipped with a light illuminating portion 18 made of two or more optical fibers which is disposed on a surface of a living body and illuminates the light into the living body and a light receiving portion 19 made of two or more optical fibers to receive the light which diffuses or transmits through the living body at the outside of the living body, with which a glucose concentration in the living body is calculated based on the spectrum of the light received by the light receiving portion 19. Also, position determination means 23, 24 and 25 which determine mutual positioning of the optical fibers constituting the light illuminating portion 18 and the light receiving member 19 in a radial direction are equipped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
