PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surface finish equipment for the side part of a green tire capable of removing the flotation of a pasted-up rubber end part and capable of making an interface obscure in the outer surface of the side part of the green tire. SOLUTION: The surface finish equipment for the side part of a green tire for leveling the pasted-up rubber end part in the outer surface of the side part of the green tire is equipped with a tire support 1 for rotatably supporting the green tire, a brush member 2 having brush bristles provided to the periphery thereof, a motor 3 for rotaling the brush member 2, an air cylinder 6 for moving the brush member 2 in the direction for bringing the brush bristles into contact with the side part and a drive mechanism comprising a servomotor 14 for moving the brush member 2 along the width direction of the side part, a screw member 12, an LM guide 13, a spur gear 16, a universal joint 18 and the like. In such a state that the green tire and the brush member 2 are rotated, the brush member 2 is moved by the drive mechanism comprising the air cylinder 6/servomotor 14 and the like to level the rubber end part.
