PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor body for a motor embedded with permanent magnets which not only avoids a problem of stray flux in the region of a shaft but also is easy to be manufactured and small in the number of parts. SOLUTION: The rotor body comprises: a rotor core 22 formed in a substantially cylindrical shape; a center opening 28 formed in the center of the rotor core 22 for fixing a shaft; and permanent magnets 30 which are disposed in such directions that they penetrate the rotor core 22 from the inner radius side toward the outer radius side in the substantially spoke shape and are embedded in the rotor core 22. The rotor core 22 is formed as an integral-type enclosure. The rotor core 22 is formed with in-rotor recesses 32 which are in such shapes and dispositions that they bridge ends of each of two selected permanent magnets 30 and are positioned on either or both the inner radius side in the radial direction and the outer radius side in the radial direction.
