PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux control type generator, capable of generating a large voltage at low speed, and improving the efficiency of flux control by performing large demagnetization at a high speed. SOLUTION: A stator 4 consists of comb portions 10, an inner stator core 16 made by a bridge portion 14 for connecting the comb portions 10 and an aggregate portion 12, of which the number of teeth is smaller than that of the comb portions 10, and an outer stator core 17 engaged with the inner stator core 16. A flux control basket 7, disposed in between a rotor 3 and the stator 4 so as to be oscillatable, is constituted by a flux control aggregate 8 corresponding to the number of the teeth of the aggregate portion 12, and a cylindrical portion 9 for connecting the flux control aggregate 8. The flux control type generator controls the flux from a permanent magnet member 5 to the stator 4, based on the changes of the alignment condition between the aggregate portion 12 and the flux control aggregate 8.
