PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sticker protecting agent for glass polishing which is hard to peel off in glass polishing and to provide a sticker protecting agent for glass polishing which is excellently bonded to a glass substrate wet with liquid crystal and never causes the liquid crystal to deteriorate owing to light irradiation. SOLUTION: A sticker protecting agent for glass polishing is made of photocuring resin, which contains a polythiol compound having two or more thiol groups in one molecule, a polyene compound having two or more carbon-carbon double bonds in one molecule, and a photopolymerization initiator. Preferably, the degree of swelling of a cured material body of the photocuring resin in an abrasive solution is≤20%. More preferably, the photocuring resin is cured with ultraviolet rays or visible light beams of high wavelength of≥300 nm. Moreover, the adhesive strength of the photocuring resin having been cured to a glass surface wetted with liquid crystal is preferably≥4 MPa. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
