PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a conventional holder for a plate such as a printed-circuit board is required to eliminate the necessity of forming holes in the plate, and to hold the plate in the state of applying a plane-retaining force (tension). SOLUTION: A holder has a structure of vertically hanging a plate to be treated, being made of an upper and lower frame plates which are longer than one side of the above plate to be treated and have freely rotatable clamps each installed in the vicinity of both ends, making the freely rotatable clamps arranged in the upper and lower frame plates each set slant to the inside, and sandwich each of the vicinity of both corners of the upper part and the lower part of the plate to be treated, and making the holder hold the plate to be treated in the state of giving the tension to the plate in the outward direction by making each clamp rotate so as to open to the outside by the weight of the plate to be treated and the lower frame plate. Thereby, the holder can easily hold the plate to be treated in the state of giving the plane-retaining force (the tension) to the plate to be treated, without needing to form a hole or the like in the plate.
