ROLL-LIKE CELLULOSE ESTER FILM, AND ROLL-LIKE CELLULOSE ESTER FILM PACKAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll-like cellulose ester film used as a protecting film for a polarizing plate which is suppressed foreign matter generation during storage and exhibits excellent surface qualities, and a roll-like cellulose ester film package capable of suppressing deterioration (scratch generation or foreign matter generation) during storage in a state of physical distribution such as storage and transportation. SOLUTION: The roll-like cellulose ester film contains a compound comprising a polyhydric alcohol ester obtained from an aliphatic polyhydric alcohol and at least one monocarboxylic acid, where the content of the compound is 4.5-12.5 wt% based on the cellulose ester. The cellulose ester film is wound up around a core at a temperature of 20-25°C and a humidity of 20-50% RH. The roll-like cellulose ester film package is composed of the roll-like cellulose ester film and a packaging material which covers the film and has a moisture permeability of 0.1-10 g/m2under a specified environmental condition.
