PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device for a vehicle capable of making an amount of a projection of a shaft of a turning body from a storage device body small as compared with a conventional one. SOLUTION: The storage device for a vehicle has the storage device body 20 having a side wall 21 formed with a bearing hole 22; the turning body 30 has the shaft 32 inserted to the bearing hole 22 of the storage device body 20 and supported to the storage device body 20 so as to be turnable; and a torsion spring 40 for turning/urging the turning body 30 to the storage device body 30. The shaft 32 of the turning body 30 has a cylindrical part 33 slidable with the edge of the bearing hole 22 of the storage device body 20; a positioning rib 34 provided at the inner side of the cylindrical part 33; and a spring mounting groove 35 formed between the cylindrical part 33 and the positioning rib 34 and extending from the axial outer side end of the cylindrical part 33 to the inside the storage device body 20 as compared with the outer surface 21a of the side wall of the storage device body 20.
