The invention relates to a method for making available a plug-in card equipped with an identification to a mobile radio terminal, whereby the plug-in card allows the assignment and registration of said mobile radio terminal to and in a mobile radio network. According to the invention, a large number of plug-in cards (20, 21, 2n) are managed centrally in a central computer (1) and are made available by the latter and the identification data of a plug-in card, in addition to optional authentication data, is transmitted to the mobile radio terminal (3) by remote data transfer in response to a request from said terminal (3), thus making said data available in the terminal. The invention also relates to a telecommunication assembly, a computer and a mobile radio terminal for carrying out a method of this type or for use in a method of this type.
