PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of correcting an imaged image with higher accuracy.

SOLUTION: A correction amount arithmetic unit 3 receives an imaged image with a concentric circular reference pattern wherein intervals of concentric circles (increments of radius) are equal to each other from e.g., a digital camera. A center coordinate arithmetic unit 41 obtains center coordinates whereby centers Q of the concentric circles are identical to each other, and gives the center coordinates to the digital camera as a correction amount. A magnification reduction rate arithmetic section 42 calculates a magnification / reduction rate of a correction parameter so that intervals D0 to D9 of the concentric circles C1 to C11 are equal to each other. Then the magnification reduction rate arithmetic section 42 uses the obtained magnification / reduction rate for the correction amount and gives it to the digital camera. The image processing apparatus or the like is applicable to image processing apparatuses for correcting imaging apparatuses.
