<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce measurement error. <P>SOLUTION: This measuring apparatus 1 has a computation step for computing parameters with respect to photographing conditions of a camera photographing images on the basis of the photographed images photographing lamps R<SB>1</SB>... R<SB>4</SB>arranged at equal intervals in a tunnel, and a measurement step for measuring physical quantity with respect to a vehicle 3 on the basis of the photographed images photographing the vehicle (a measuring object) 3 by using the parameters of the camera 10. Consequently, the parameters with respect to the photographing conditions are always updated on the basis of the photographed images of the lamps R<SB>1</SB>...
