<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food packaging material with which a sheetlike food such as dried laver can be wrapped around a rice ball for eating, which can improve sealability. <P>SOLUTION: The food packaging material is a baglike food packaging material for receiving the sheetlike food 5 to be wound around the rice ball in a storage part 3 between an outer film 1 and an inner film 2. Both edges 6 and 7 of the outer film 1 and the inner film 2 are connected with each other. A tear guide 8 is provided on the inner film 2. The outer film 1 is split when unsealing, the split outer film is pulled, and then the inner film 2 is torn and split.
