MERCHANDISE ORDERING DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise ordering device, method and program capable of preventing problems with management of merchandise information and keeping the amount of data registered in a merchandise master from increasing, thereby greatly reducing the load on persons in charge of placing orders.

SOLUTION: The merchandise ordering device 110 is connected via a communication line 100 to a plurality of ordering terminals 120 comprised of computers or the like and used by the person in charge of placing orders. The merchandise ordering device determines whether or not the merchandise code of the merchandise to be ordered is already registered in the merchandise master 113. When it is not registered in the merchandise master 113, the merchandise is registered in a simple manner in the merchandise master 113 according to the input order information and an ordering process is carried out.
