<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deceleration shock at the time of entering into fuel cutting, and also further improve fuel economy in a control device for a hybrid automobile. <P>SOLUTION: This control device for the hybrid automobile having as a driving force source for traveling, an engine 2 and an electric motor 4, is provided with an electric motor control means 20 controlling the operating state of the electric motor 4 and a fuel feed stopping means 141 stopping combustion supply to the engine 2 when a predetermined traveling condition is set up.
