<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration reducible in the number of components, in a rotation detecting structure which detects the rotational speed and the rotational direction of a rotor. <P>SOLUTION: The rotation detecting structure comprises a rotor (motor output shaft) 14 composed of a large diameter part 14a and a small diameter part 14b, a bearing 31 fitted to the small diameter part, a sensor gear 41 fitted between the bearing 31 and the large diameter part 14a, and a sensor 42 which detects the presence of teeth provided to the sensor gear 41 and outputs it as a signal. The sensor gear 41 integrally comprises a cylindrical boss 41b, and the boss 41b is externally fitted to the small diameter part 14b while the end of the boss 41b is contacted to the inner ring of the bearing 31. A female thread 51 is formed on the inner surface of the boss 41b while a male screw 52 engaging with the female thread 51 is formed on the outer surface of the small diameter part 14b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
