<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp for a closure of an optical cable which can be operated with a touch of a finger and is very user-friendly and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: Clamping of the closure by using the clamp 1 can be performed simply by winding a band plate member 4 around the outer periphery of the closure and locking a ring 10 of a hinge fitting 7 to be attached to a fitting bracket 6 of the band plate member 4 with a hook 5 of the band plate member 4. Such locking state is maintained by a coil spring 11. Also, unclamping is performed simply by manually pushing up curving portions (a rear end 9a<SB>1</SB>of a top plate 9a and a rear end of a side plate 9b) of an arm 9 of the hinge fitting 7 against the energizing force of the coil spring 11, gripping the arm and releasing the locking state while lifting such arm 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
