<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially inexpensively producing a perfluorovinyl ether with slight impurities in high yield, and to provide a new compound useful for the method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the perfluorovinyl ether comprises the following process: An industrially readily available compound of formula(a):HOCH(CH<SB>3</SB>)CHOR<SP>A</SP>(wherein, R<SP>A</SP>is a hydroxyl-protecting group) is reacted with CF<SB>2</SB>HCl, CF<SB>2</SB>=CF<SB>2</SB>or CF<SB>3</SB>CF=CF<SB>2</SB>to obtain a compound, the hydroxy group of which is deprotected to form a compound, which is then reacted with a compound of formula(2):Q(COX)<SB>n</SB>(wherein, n is an integer of≥1; and X is a halogen atom) to form a compound, which is then fluorinated followed by splitting the ester linkage and then carrying out a thermal splitting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
