TRAIN INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND RESERVATION SYSTEM USING ELECTRONIC TICKET INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train information distribution system which can inform a passenger's cellular phone of a crowded situation of the train.

SOLUTION: A traffic control system 6 acquires weight information including a vehicle number and weight from each weight sensor 2 provided in a car for nonreserved seats in a train 1 which has departed from the last station. A host computer 7 computes the degree of crowding for each car number based on the weight information acquired above. Next, information on degree of crowding comprising the degree of crowding and information for identifying the train 1 is prepared and sent to a station yard and is received by a cellular phone 4 possessed by a passenger 5. The cellular phone 4 displays the degree of crowding for each car number of the train 1.
