PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an impedance of a PTC element of a conventional surface mounting type is extremely increased and a current efficiency is lowered by being exposed under a high-temperature environment when the PTC element is subjected to a reflow treatment. SOLUTION: A conductive polymer 16 with a positive temperature coefficient for increasing electric resistance in response to increase of temperature is applied to either a first pattern 17 connected to a charge terminal 11 on a protective circuit 9 or a second pattern 18 connected to an electrode terminal 6 of a secondary battery and formed at a position to be overlapped with the first pattern 17 when the circuit board 9 is bent, after the reflow treatment to mount at least an IC, a chip, a resistor and a capacitor for protecting an overcurrent on the circuit board 9. The first and second patterns 17, 18 are fixed in an overlapped manner, to form a battery protective circuit, by which the secondary battery is protected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
