PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance various characteristics of a polycarbonate resin composition such as strength, stiffness, heat distortion temperature and thermal expansion coefficient, etc. SOLUTION: A carboxyl group is formed on the surface of a carbon nanotube by treating the nanotube with an acid or hydrogen peroxide. In the next step, the carboxyl group of the nanotube is treated with a chlorinated acyl group to form a chlorinated acyl group on the surface of the nanotube. In the next step, through a dechlorination reaction between the chlorinated acyl group of the nanotube and a hydroxyl group of a 2,2-bis (4-hydroxy phenyl) propane, the nanotube and the 2,2-bis (4-hydroxy phenyl) propane are chemically bonded, with an intervening ester linkage, to form a resin composition intermediate. In the next step, a polycondensation reaction of the resin composition intermediate by a phosgene method produces the resin composition chemically bonded between the carbon nanotube and the polycarbonate with the intervening ester linkage.
