PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically add tool information to NC data. SOLUTION: Tool order information 2 grouped on various tools, and ordered with the height of rigidity as a reference, tool installation information 3, 4, 5, and a solid 7 for machining simulation are prepared. CL data is successively read out of an NC data storage device 1; a tool is read out in high order of rigidity from a corresponding tool group by retrieving the tool order information 2 by information on a tool request condition of the CL data; the possibility of application is determined by the tool installation information 3, 4, and 5 on the read-out tool; interference is checked by the machining simulation when the application is possible; and when the interference is not caused, the information on the tool is added to the CL data.
