PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for vulcanization having improved heat resistance, its vulcanized rubber material, and an automotive part composed of the vulcanized rubber material which copes with the rise in temperature of an engine room particularly in the automotive use. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for vulcanization comprises (a) an epihalohydrin rubber, (b) an oxetane compound such as a compound of formula (1) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are the same or different and each hydrogen, a hydroxy group, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aromatic group, a halogen group, a substituted alkyl group, a substituted alkenyl group or a substituted aromatic group), (c) an acid acceptor, and (d) a vulcanizing agent.
