PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a technology of broaching work for improving concentricity. SOLUTION: A first plastic working surface 14-(j-1) and a second plastic working surface 14-j positioned in the rear of the first plastic working surface 14-(j-1) are formed. A distance between a rear part of the first plastic working surface 14-(j-1) and the axis L, is set larger than a distance between a front part of the first plastic working surface 14-(j-1) and the axis L. A distance between a rear part of the second plastic working surface 14-j and the axis L, is set larger than a distance between a front part of the second plastic working surface 14-j and the axis L. The shape relationship and the distance relationship of a plastic working surface can rollingly form a hole shape regardless of cutting by continuously expanding the hole shape of a work W by one-time insertion of a broach 10. Such the rolling action can substantially wholly eliminate clearance between the work W and the broach 10, and the concentricity can be highly accurately and mechanically controlled.
