PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent luster by providing a compound with aither one of corncob and chaff power or both or adding either one of a corncob and chaff powder or both to the compound for, abrading a barrel. CONSTITUTION:A proper amount of either one of corncob and chaff powder or both is added to a compound consisting essentially of a surfactant useful for abrading a barrel to give a compound for abrading barrel. A material to be worked, an abrading material, either one of corncob and chaff powder or both, a compound and water are fed to an abrading tank, movement necessary for vibration such as rotary movement, planetary rotary movement or vibration is applied to the abrading tank to give the method of abrading a barrel. |
