PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a photoprint support containing a foamed laminate layer improved in planeness at a low cost by setting the thickness and viscosity of nonfoam resin in specific ranges. SOLUTION: When plural resin layers including a foam resin layer 2 on both emulsion application sides of a sheet base material 3 and a nonfoam resin layer 1 on the upper layer side thereof are provided by extrusion, the thickness of the nonfoam resin layer 1 is set to be 5μm or more and the viscosity of resin for the nonfoam resin layer 1 is set to be 1.3-1.5 times that of resin for the foam resin layer 2. With the thickness of the upper layer side nonfoam layer 1 being 5-30μm, the roughness of the foam layer is hidden to manufacture a photoprint support excellent in planeness. The ratio of the viscosity of the upper layer side foam layer 1 to that of the lower layer side foam layer 2 is set to be 1.3-2.5 so that the photoprint support with excellent planeness can be manufactured without increasing edge loss such as turn-around at the edge. |
