USB STORAGE EQUIPPED WITH IRIS SECURITY DEVICE HAVING LOCKING FUNCTION FOR PREVENTING DATA LEAKAGE

PURPOSE: A USB(Universal Serial Bus) storage equipped with an iris security device is provided to prevent data leakage due to loss or stealth of the storage by installing the iris security device allowing a user to use the data of the storage after iris authentication. CONSTITUTION: A USB interface(100) comprises a USB controller(120) controlling data transfer between a USB port(110) and a main memory(200) of the USB. The main memory stores the data inputted from a computer through the USB interface. A main memory controller(300) controls access of the main memory from the computer through the USB interface. The iris security device(400) determines the access of the main memory from the computer by generating an iris code from an iris image inputted from an iris camera(420) and comparing the generated iris code with the previously stored original iris code.
