METHOD FOR PREPARING HYDROPHILIC COLLAGEN HAVING IMPROVED EFFICACY BY INCREASE LOW-MOLECULARIZATION AND HYDROPHILICITY AND THE HYDROPHILIC COLLAGEN THEREFROM

PURPOSE: A method for preparing hydrophilic collagen having improved efficacy by increase low-molecularization and hydrophilicity and the hydrophilic collagen therefrom are provided, which hydrophilic collagen does not denatured above 37 deg. C, and has improved absorption to human body. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing hydrophilic collagen having improved efficacy by increase low-molecularization and hydrophilicity comprises the steps of: treating 67 to 97.99 wt.% of collagen with 0.01 to 3 wt.% of lysozyme; treating the lysozyme treated collagen with 1 to 5% of citric acid; adding 1 to 25 wt.% of ascorbic acid into the citric acid treated collagen; mixing the ascorbic acid added collagen with distilled water in a ratio of 100:1000; and stirring the mixture at 600 to 300 rpm under nitrogen gas with sonication of 50kHz for 1 to 30 minutes to prepare spherical shaped collagen.
