<p>PURPOSE: A DNA chip for diagnosing genetic neurodegenerative diseases caused by increase of trinucleotide repeat is provided, thereby reducing the time for diagnosis, improving the efficiency of diagnosis, and improving confidence of the diagnosis results. CONSTITUTION: The DNA chip for diagnosing genetic neurodegenerative diseases caused by increase of trinucleotide repeat comprises (i) a plate with a micro-array of a trinucleotide repeat sequence (CAG)n associated with genetic neurodegenerative diseases; (ii) a primer for amplifying a specific trinucleotide repeat sequence in the genomic DNA of a sample; and (iii) buffer solution for PCR and polymerization enzymes, wherein the genetic neurodegenerative disease is Huntington disease, Kennedy disease(SBMA), Spinocerebellar ataxia(SCA) type 1,2,3,6,7, and Dentato-rubral-pallidoluysianatrophy(DRPLA); the primer for Huntington disease has the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs:1 and 2; the primer for Kennedy disease(SBMA) has the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs:3 and 4; the primer for SCA1 has the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs:5 and 6; the primer for SCA2 has the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs:7 and 8; the primer for SCA3 has the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs:9 and 10; the primer for SCA6 has the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs:11 and 12; the primer for SCA7 has the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs:13 and 14; and the primer for DRPLA has the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs:15 and 16.</p> |
