PURPOSE: A folding type fish trap, which is easily folded or unfolded, and solidly maintains the unfolded state, is provided to reduce the work hours for setting or taking away the present trap, and to prevent the amount of the fish catch from being reduced by solidly maintaining the unfolded state of the trap when it is used. CONSTITUTION: The folding type fish trap includes: many link rods(20), hinged-connected between a pair of rings(10), facing each other; an intermediate hinge(24), arranged in the middle of the link rods(20) so that the latter(10) are overlapped each other; a net(1), covering the frame which is formed by the rings(10) and the link rods(20); a pair of horizontal support bars(30), crossing the each ring(10) in a diameter direction so as to be fixed to the latter(10); a center rod(40), whose both ends are hinge-connected with the pair of horizontal support bars(30) and in whose intermediate portion an intermediate hinge(32) is arranged in a foldable manner; and a supporting unit(44), supporting the center rod(40) in an upright state.
