PURPOSE: A composite heat transfer material mixed with an epoxy resin and its preparation method are provided, to improve the heating efficiency by reducing the loss of transferred heat and to simplify the making process. CONSTITUTION: The composite heat transfer material comprises a nano-sized heat transfer material, an epoxy resin and an expandable resin component. The method comprises the steps of mixing a nano-sized heat transfer material, an epoxy resin and an expandable resin component; forming the mixture into a certain shape; and curing the formed one. Preferably the composite heat transfer material is formed by being adhered to the heat absorbing part and the heat discharging part of a heat transfer device without lead welding.
