A pixel circuit included in a display device includes a light emitting element, a photo sensor, and a correction control circuit. The correction control circuit allows the light emitting element to continuously emit light according to a first voltage in a first period. And, the correction control circuit controls a current applied to the light emitting element based on a voltage maintained in a capacitor and the detection result of the photo sensor in a second period and a third period. So, the generation of a similar contour can be prevented.
