The present invention relates to a cylinder deactivation engine having a simple composition. A cylinder deactivation engine including two or more cylinders, to selectively deactivate a part of cylinders according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: one or more deactivation cylinders to be selectively deactivated; one or more activation cylinders which are not deactivated; a cylinder deactivation apparatus operated by oil pressure and included on an inhalation side and an exhaust side of the deactivation cylinder to selectively realize zero-lift in the lift of the inhalation side and the exhaust side of the deactivation cylinder; a variable valve lift apparatus mounted in the inhalation side of the activation cylinder to selectively change the lift of the inhalation value of the activation cylinder, and operated by the oil pressure; an oil-pump to generate the oil-pressure to operate the variable value lift apparatus and the cylinder deactivation apparatus; and at least one oil control valve to control to selectively supply the oil pressure received from the oil pump to the variable valve lift apparatus and the cylinder deactivation apparatus. |
