PURPOSE: A method for forming an image having a voice in a portable terminal is provided to select at least one of stored images to record a voice, and to insert the recorded voice into the selected image. CONSTITUTION: A controller displays a selected image(237), and checks whether a key signal is inputted from a key input unit or an input signal is inputted from a touch screen(239). If so, the controller records a voice(241), and checks whether a set time elapses(243). If so, the controller controls a display such that the display can display contents showing that a voice cannot be further recorded(245). The controller controls a buffer to temporarily store the recorded voice(247), and checks whether a key signal is inputted from the key input unit(249). If so, the controller inserts the temporarily stored voice into the selected image, and stores the image(251).
