PURPOSE: A hood switch mounting structure for a vehicle is provided to reduce the number of parts, to easily assemble, and to mount a hood switch without damaging rigidity of a carrier by reducing the number of through-holes formed at the carrier. CONSTITUTION: A hood switch mounting structure for a vehicle is composed of a carrier mounted in an engine room of the vehicle; a socket integrally molded at the predetermined part of the carrier and formed with a circumferential portion(46b) and a female screw unit(46a); and a switch assembly body(41) having a pressure sensing unit(42), a male screw unit(48a) formed outside, a fixing case disposed inside to support and receive elastically a pressure switch; and a cable(45). The switch assembly body is combined and fixed to the socket on the carrier. A buffer unit made from an elastic material is integrated at the circumferential portion formed on the upper part of the socket.
