<p>The sledge (1) is normally used on snow or ice and has a wheeled undercarriage. It has a frame (11) with stub axles (14) for each of the two wheels (15). The frame pivots on a transverse pin (12) on a baseplate connected to the frame (3) carrying the snow runners (2). The baseplate has horizontal slits (22) accommodating fastening bolts (24) and nuts (28) holding it on a cross-frame (25,26). There is a locking device (13) with a handle (32) and a pin (31,34) sliding in a bore in the wheel frame and engaging in a blind bore (35) in the baseplate.</p> |
