The present invention relates to an apparatus for purifying coke oven gas and a method for purifying coke oven gas. More specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus for purifying coke oven gas, which includes: an H_2S wash tower; an ammonia wash tower; a distillation column; and a mineralization reactor forming calcium carbonate from a solution supplied from the distillation column and supplying ammonia water to the H_2S wash tower. The present invention further relates to a method for purifying coke oven gas.
