The present invention relates to a device to protect sides of a vehicle being parked, capable of safely protecting doors of a parked vehicle and sides of a neighboring vehicle by operating an elevating device with a protector depending on whether the neighboring vehicle is parked or not while solving the inconveniences caused when the protector is individually stored and installed to prevent damage caused by the doors of the vehicle. According to the present invention, the device comprises: a support panel including a plurality of divided parking lines, a hanger installed in an upper side (ceiling) by being combined with metal structures such as angles and pipes to be matched with the parking lines, and a main control part controlling a sensor and a lamp installed to report whether parking is possible or not, and fixated in parallel with the parking lines in an upper part of the hanger; a speed reducing motor installed in the upper part of the support panel to be matched with the boundary lines of the parking lines, and able to normally and inversely rotate; a wire wound on a bobbin of the speed reducing motor; a group of guide rollers installed in the hanger to guide both sides of the wire; and a protector tied on both ends of the wire to protect the sides of the parked vehicle while being elevated towards the boundary lines by the operation of the motor. The main control part, receiving a signal of the sensor, determines whether a vehicle is single or next to another vehicle in an area of the parking lines, and then the protector is moved down by the unwinding of the wire and the operation of the reducing motor only when the vehicle is next to another vehicle. |
