PURPOSE: Provided is a cosmetic composition for lips which contains esculin, lactate and glycolic acid and makes lip line and color clear and increases lip moisturization to maintain lips moist and smooth. Therefore, the composition is used as raw material of lip gloss, lip cream or lipstick. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic composition for lips contains about 0.5-1 wt.% of esculin, about 2-5 wt.% of lactate and about 0.5-5 wt.% of glycolic acid. It further contains at least one of meadowfoam seed oil, allantoin, tocopherol acetate and Linseed oil.
