METHOD AND A DEVICE FOR ACCUMULATING DATA, ESPECIALLY IN CONNECTION WITH ACCUMULATING AND COMPRESSING DIGITAL RAW DATA AT RELATIVELY HIGH QUALITY

PURPOSE: A method and a device for accumulating data are provided to execute at least two different programs including the first program for compressing and accumulating digital raw data and the second program for car navigation, thereby accumulating and compressing the data at relatively high quality. CONSTITUTION: A data accumulating device(100) comprises as follows. A receiving unit(110) receives digital raw data related to digital contents. The first accumulating unit(120) accumulates the received digital raw data in a storage medium(140). A compressing unit(131) retrieves the digital raw data, compresses the retrieved digital raw data, and produces digitally coded data in relation to the retrieved digital raw data. The second accumulating unit(132) accumulates the digitally coded data in the storage medium(140).
