PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize image forming where the deviation of an image, that is, color slurring is restrained with simple constitution and also to realize inexpensive high-speed image formation. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a plurality of photoreceptors 1Y, 1M, 1C and 1K and an exposure means 40 scanning and exposing the respective photoreceptors by deflecting laser beams modulated according to an image signal. The exposure means 40 is composed of a plurality of laser beam sources and one rotary polygon mirror reflecting and deflecting the respective laser beams from the laser beam sources so as to perform scanning, and the respective laser beam sources are arranged at positions where the laser beams are reflected on the common reflection surface of the rotary polygon mirror. Then, the respective laser beam sources are arranged at positions where the laser beams are made incident on the common reflection surface from different angles respectively and the respective photoreceptors 1Y, 1M, 1C and 1K are arranged at positions where their optical path lengths from the reflection surface are nearly the same. In the respective laser beam sources, the laser beams are modulated by using a common clock signal. |
