<p>A self-cleaning holster for holding an electrosurgical instrument and for cleaning a blade secured to the electrosurgical instrument is provided. The holster has a portion for securely supporting the holder portion of the instrument, as well as a portion for securely supporting and cleaning the blade. A separate blade-cleaning portion is provided for cleaning the blade during surgery.</p>
